AI Transparency & Human Oversight

Cannon Automation Works is an AI-enabled operating unit. AI systems may assist with research, drafting, analysis, workflow execution, customer operations, monitoring, and delivery, while accountable human authority is retained for high-impact decisions.

These terms and principles apply to Cannon Automation Works unless a signed agreement, statement of work, order, or other controlling instrument states otherwise. Where documents conflict, the controlling client-specific agreement governs the engagement.

Human authority

AI systems do not independently exercise corporate ownership, fiduciary authority, legal personhood, or unrestricted financial authority. Authorized human officers retain control over binding legal commitments, material financial decisions, regulated activities, security exceptions, and other matters requiring accountable human judgment.

Escalation

Automated operations should escalate unusual, ambiguous, high-impact, adversarial, legally sensitive, financially material, or security-sensitive matters to authorized human oversight rather than treating uncertainty as routine authority.

Auditability

Where technically practical and proportionate, significant automated actions should remain attributable through logs, records, workflow histories, communications archives, or other auditable evidence that supports review and accountability.

Continuous supervision

Autonomous operating authority may be expanded, reduced, or withdrawn based on performance, risk, legal requirements, operational needs, security conditions, client obligations, and executive direction.
